Unless a spanner has been thrown in the works between time of writing and publication, I’m pleased to remind you about planned activities for this month.
In the headlights….
Wednesday 7th JULY - A visit to Lavenham
Helen & Tim Eaton have kindly arranged to start the Anglemog post Covid calendar off with a visit to the beautiful village of Lavenham in Suffolk. This includes a walk, pub lunch and a chance to explore the village with its amazing historic buildings and perhaps an ice-cream or tea and cake in one of the many outlets.
9th-11th July National MOG event
For those that have booked, I look forward to seeing you there.
Wednesday 14th July - Welcome back Noggin.
Sunday 25th July
Garden Party. Once again Dave and Kate have kindly agreed to host what has become one of Anglemog’s highlights of the year.
Changes to the provisional diary
Sunday 8th August from 11.00am
Kelvin Knappitt has sent an invite from Matching Green Car Club who cordially invite Anglemoggers to a Bring Your Own Picnic on Matching Green.
29th August - Car Show - North Weald Station
Details about all these events have been circulated but if you are not on the mailing list please contact me.
For the first time in many months....In the rear view mirror
On 23rd May, Rosemarie Nelson acted as co-ordinator to attend the North Weald Airfield Car Show, an event organised by the Jaguar Club. Thank you to Simon Daunt for the full report and pictures on our website and of course, to Rosemarie (and Peter) for arranging our participation.
As event details are being firmed up, I'll probably be announcing more changes to the original programme proposed in April. I’m aiming to produce an updated programme which can be printed from the website and can be discussed at our "welcome back" noggin. Linda and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
